Last night in conjunction with POWWOW ’14, RVCA & The Seventh Letter teamed up to put on an exhibition featuring some of the graffiti & street artists they are affiliated with. Lazarides and The Vinyl Factory, joined their forces to bring an exceptional group show to art lovers at the peak of London art week. Brutal is an annual off-site exhibition set up in the abandoned office building the middle of Temple area in Central London. Openings: Eriberto & Estevan Oriol – “Like Father, Like Son : NYC” @ Carmichael Gallery

Carmichael Gallery recently presented a popup exhibition for Eriberto and Estevan Oriol in the Big Apple. Entitled Like Father, Like Son : NYC, this exhibition is actually the second installment (first one was in LA) of a traveling retrospective from the renowned Chicano father and son photographic duo. The series of photographs on display show off their gritty and raw viewpoint of lifestyles from the streets of Los Angeles. Upcoming: Eriberto & Estevan Oriol – “Like Father, Like Son : NYC” @ Carmichael Gallery Popup

On November 8th, the Carmichael Gallery will be presenting Like Father, Like Son : NYC at a popup space in New York (6 to 8pm, 303 Tenth Ave in Chelsea). Openings: Urban Legends @ L.A. Mart Design Center

Last weekend at the L.A. Mart Design Center, the Urban Legends auction and exhibition opened their doors to the public. With a series of largescale pieces, murals, photographs, and installations, artists around the world like Chor Boogie, Kofie, Mear One, Shark Toof, Cern, Estria, Martha Cooper, Sand One, Herakut, SANER, Estevan Oriol, Eriberto Oriol, Chaz Bojorquez, RETNA, Andrew Hem, and more were invited to put their work on display.
