The Los Angeles-based Sam Falls recently returned to Brooklyn for an outdoor project with the help of The Public Art Fund. Entitled Light Over Time, this exhibition held in the MetroTech Center courtyard clearly brings Fall’s installation magic into the outdoor setting. There are five sculptural works placed in select locations that invite the viewer to interact with the pieces. Whether it’s a tetris-like bench that changes color depending on the temperature or a large wind chime that can be rung, it’s pretty fitting to enjoy Fall’s simple design in the inspiring setting. This great project will be up until May 29, 2015 so stop by if you’re in BK.
