Last night, one of the hottest spots in Culver City was the opening of D*Face’s (featured) show Going Nowhere Fast at the Corey Helford Gallery.  The next-level Lichtenstein inspired pieces combined with the sweet highly visible mural (covered) as well as his street intervention on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (covered) brought out his fans (new and old) in droves and led to brisk sales. The UK-based street artist did not disappoint with a well-rounded and versatile body of work including large-scale canvases, installation pieces, Flutter-dies, dissected book reconstructions, skatedeck crosses and more.

Take a look at all the opening photos, taken for us by Brandon Shigeta, after the jump…
